Revitalizing the Social Sector

Led by the Canadian Council on Social Development
These conversations will center on four questions on the changing social sector in the 21st Century

  1. The State of the Art: Where have we come from and where are we headed as a sector? (completed)
  2. The Future of Work: Where do our leaders come from today (completed)
  3. Social Innovation: What do we need for scaling out and up? (completed)
  4. Not for Profits in the 21st Century: What do we need for revitalization?

The Climate Change Imperative
Led by Professors Catherine Potvin and Ann Dale

This series will include four discussions with the climate change scholars from the McGill project, Sustainable Canada Dialogues. The first, scheduled for May 19th will discuss their consensus report, Acting on Climate Solutions. The second, to be finalized will talk about the provincial opportunities and challenges in implementing the report. The third will 'look' at what Canadian visions about our desired futures. The fourth, scheduled for September will again convene scholars to discuss three scenarios.
